Is it unusual for a DW .44Mag trigger to have a shiny (not stainless) finish when the rest of the gun is blued, including the hammer? Other than that, the gun I'm considering is in terrific condition, made in Monson, and has the box, papers, and barrel tool. The seller says that no trigger work was done on it, but....

Forgot to add that the trigger is adjustable with a set screw; serial # range B0241xx

Yea the shiny trigger is the norm, not sure why but don't sweat it.

I've been considering putting a stainless trigger and hammer in my blue 15-2. I think it looks pretty darn sweet.

Thanks for the replies. The gun sold on GB for $775 (1 bid), which wasn't a bad price, but I wasn't sure about the trigger so I didn't bid.
