I am doing a follow up on my sticking trigger. I decided to take the gun completely apart and do the tune up on it. I decided I would just take it all apart. I did not think it needed parts as it did not do it cold and always did it on the same cylinder. On the complete take down I smoothed all surfaces and then discovered the screw that holds the cylinder aligning ball in was extremely loose. I tightened the screw and assembled the complete gun. I took it to the range today and fired 18 rounds with no problems at all. I think I finally discovered the problem.
On the bad note I emailed Dan Wesson about parts a couple weeks ago and have never heard from them. Lousy customer service. I don't know why anyone would spend $1100 for a new one, if they can't take care of parts for old ones. Actually they are the same parts.

Just out of curiosity, did you email directly to DW in Norwich, or did you go thru CZ/DW?
The $1100 new ones are true to the DW design, but CZ has never shown the slightest interest in supporting the DW revolver brand.
In most instances, our members that call DW in Norwich get great service and very positive support.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I guess that was a mistake. I think I emailed CZ. I think I got it off their website.
Not your mistake, CZ's.
Give DW in Norwich, NY a call (maybe 607.336.1174?) and they will get you taken care of right away.

I'm guessing you did the Average Joe Tune Up? It's amazing what that can uncover, clean up and fix with little or no expense.
To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:
if you find one...what's your plan?

Terry, the good news is that you don't need to be an expert for this, and you are right, you can come back and refine your work.
