I was curious of the value of a stainless model 715V pistol pack vs a model 15 pistol pack. I am debating on which one to buy. They are both complete Monsoon PP in excellent condition.  Is the 715V worth 20% more or are they equal value? Thanks for the feedback

In my opinion, 20% more for stainless is reasonable if you prefer stainless.A blue gun will show scratches that could be removed from stainless and of course, less worry about rust.

Would you say $1200 is a fair price for a 715V complete pistol pack in excellent condition including the case. Thanks for the feedback

In my area of the country that would be a very fair price for a 715PP.

1200.00 is a fair price for a nice blued pack, 715 stainless packs are not that common and command top dollar on the auction sights, I have seen them go for 2000.00+

Right now there is one on Armslist in Florida for 2000.00 which I think looks like a nice pack.

I picked up the 715V pistol pack this evening and i am more than pleased!  the gun is 99% overall condition and 100% complete pistol pack.  The case is in great shape and it even has the key to the case.  The guy i bought if from was a great guy and longtime DW Collector.  Thanks for the feedback and knowledge.20140322_221006.jpgImage Enlarger

What a great looking 715 PP.  Will you take my firstborn, age 27?

What is the value difference in a 715 vs 715V Pistol Pack. I just realized mine isn't a V. I was so surprised by the condition I didn't realize is was a 715 and not 715V. I got a good price either way but I was just curious

The only difference is the Vent Rib. If you are

1) Not planning to mount a scope via the "clamp on" method

2) Happy with your new 715 Pack,

Then there is no "value" difference

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Very nice pistol pac you did very well. I would guess there is no measurable value difference between a vented or non vented stainless pac, either is quite desirable in such nice condition as yours. The non vented barrels certainly are a bit harder to find.

Actually the complete PP without the vented rib is quite rare. Looks like a treasure to me.
