Came across this auction on GB not long after it started and was able to work a deal out with the seller. the six inch barrel has been drilled and tapped but the mount is not with the kit. Can anyone help with info on what mount may have been used?

Here you go....Scope Mount . It's black but you could probably strip and anodize it if you really wanted it to match the stainless.

Weigand also makes a picatinny stlye mount that fits that screw pattern and they have it in silver and black.
If you want strictly a scope mount then you can look for old style Buehler mounts and Burris mounts. They also fit that screw pattern.

Nice catch. 41 Magnum is my favorite caliber. You will enjoy it I am sure. I am not confident on the spacing, but my bet would also be on Weigand.

Its my second 41 and it is becoming a favorite 
This assembly sold on ebay and looks to have what I'm looking for. Can anyone identify the brand on this one?

I have to add a story about this revolver...apparently I was the second guy in line. I found a listing on Armslist for two NIB DW .357 barrels...if memory serves they were 2.5 and 4 inch blued. The guy wanted a buck and a half each...I emailed asking if he would ship.
While I'm waiting for his reply, I found the listing for the .41 and emailed him about a BIN.
While I'm waiting for the reply on the .41, the guy with the barrels says sure, he'll ship. I immediately wrote back that I'd take 'em.
Meanwhile the guy with the .41 says he might take a certain price for his set and I immediately emailed him back and agreed to buy if he'd take the set off GB.
While I'm waiting for the reply for the .41 the guy with the barrels says "Sorry I just sold the barrels."
I figured I'd rather have the .41 anyway and when I looked at GB it was no longer online. I went to bed happy.
Some of you probably see this coming but I didn't...next morning I get an email from the guy with the .41 telling me that there was another guy ahead of me by a few minutes and he got the pistol.
Moral of the story...some days you get the bear...some days the bear gets you.

Hello Rimfire......I feel lucky to have gotten this beauty.
I was also told by the seller that two guys had inquired ahead of me so I asked what it would take to end the auction. When he replied I immediately sent payment to his account to lock it up. BTW there was another 741 I was already watching on GB. It ended a couple days later for 350.00 more than I paid. It included 2 barrels [6v and 4vh] and had a rubber grip without the case and none of the extras that came with mine. I gotta say was a little nervous until mine actually arrived on Friday and in didn't disappoint
