I have purchased an 8.67" stainless Heavy barrel shroud with 3 ports on the top of the barrel, each port being 0.125" in width, the first port being 0.375" form the muzzle of the barrel, with spacing distances of 0.125" between the ports and I wanted to know what length barrel will this shroud fit? I am guessing a 9" barrel, but those seem to be rare.

Definitely a compensated barrel shroud for an 8" barrel. In addition to what Stinger said, it also requires a special knurled nut for the end of the shroud. The nut goes on after the recessed barrel nut is tightened. Without this nut the compensator does not perform its function.

Here is a picture of one of my compensated barrels so you can see what a complete assembly looks like Note the knurled nut on the end when that is removed there is a notched barrel nut about an inch below the knurled nut you will need a special tool (shown in the picture below) to remove that I will try and locate pictures.
This nut below is the barrel nut below the knurled nut.
