my local gun shop looked at my dan and stated that if i get the right moon clips that i could shoot the affordable 9mm rounds out of it.  my cylinder is recessed and none of my other cylinders are like this.   is this infact true or is he just blowing smoke?   he didnt have any that would fit my cylinder to see if the holes lined up  his were 5 shots    but they did sit right down i  the recess so it leads me to believe that there may be something to his statement.   thanks guys!!

The recess is only deep enough for the rim of the cartridge so I doubt it will recieve moon clips and a rimless ctg but who knows until you try. Good luck.

It will work, but the cylinder has to be modified. FWIW.
