Well I managed to achieve one of my DW collecting/accumulating goals today. I haven't been able to add anything lately so it feels good to finally reach a goal no matter how minor of a goal it is. Now where did I put that camera? Oh well I guess it will have to wait.

Good news I found the camera. So here are the pics of my latest acquisition.

Sounds like most of you have me figured out so I might as well get up off the goods. I went to a local gun show this past weekend and there was only one Dan in the whole place. I brought her home. A while back we had a thread about what makes you a collector or an accumulator, and I am not sure where I fall, but I did take note of this. A Collector has a goal and purpose in their acquisitions so I set a few goals, some easy, some not so easy. I managed to achieve the first two in one sweep and here are the goals.
- Acquire a Dan from all three plants. Monson, Palmer, and Norwich.
- Acquire a Dan of all the frame sizes/styles. Lil-Dan, Small, Large, super-mag, and 1911.
- Acquire a Dan of every caliber produced.
- Acquire a Dan of every model.
Now that goal 1 and 2 are out of the way I can work on 3 which will be tough and 4 which will be darn near impossible, but why not aim high.
Oh yea, y'all wanted pics, so here you go. Nothing fancy but she's mine.
Feels good to reach a goal, no matter how small.

I have some of the same goals as far as Dan's I want/need! THe little Dan is high on list the list! Nice find!!! With 2 gunshows here this coming weekend maybe I will get lucky! Keeo the pics coming!!
