You have a model 14 or 15 porkchop . 15 has adjustable rear sights. Serial number dates it to around 1972 but Steve CT will be the final arbiter of age . That is the age question. The anything category is pretty broad. Read the "Average Joe Tune-up" and make sure you get a barrel wrench.

Hello , The revolver has adjustable sights . I will have to find a barrel tool and .006 shim .
EWK Arms (right sidebar) makes the best barrel wrench available, AND he has a new item that will allow you to use the -2 (straight shroud barrel assemblies) on a "Porkchop" gun
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Howdy and welcome. Which adjustable rear sight does it have? Does it look like the pic below? If so, then it's a 15, no dash. If not, then it's a 15-1. I believe the 15 and 15-1 utilize different front sight heights (and I believe the 15-1 and 15-2 utilize similar/same front sight heights) even though the 15-1 is a porkchop'd shroud and the 15-2 is a straight shroud. 15 (no dash) front sights are the tallest of all the front sights. Just something to watch for when barrel/shroud shopping, it can get confusing and most gunbroker and ebay sellers don't know the difference.
