Hello DW lovers and addicts.
I had a very shallow moment the other day and I felt the need to share my depressing action.
My friend, a LGS, called me with an offer from a customer that had a 715-2 for sale. It was a fixed 3"-barrel model he wanted $700 for. I tried to get it for $600 and he said no, so I passed on it. It's only been 3 days, but I have beat myself up so badly that I can't even walk. This morning I sent my friend a message telling him, "The next time a customer comes in with a nice DW, BUY IT. Then call me and tell me how much money I owe you". For some reason he is not a DW fan other than make money from me.

Your was obviously in remission at the time. Also, no such thing as a 715-2. All the design modifications where already done by the time the stainless models were produced, so it's just 715. I believe $700 was a fair price and would have been all over it.

Hello Stinger.
Thank you for correcting my mistake about the 715-2. It must be pretty evident that I am still in a very depressed and mindless state to make that kind of mistake. And yes, I should have taken that deal like a set of rims at a Puff Daddy concert. For some reason I feel I need to discuss such purchases with my new wife before spending her money.
Thankfully she has made it pretty plain that I was doing very well making good decisions before we married, and she has absolute trust in me to continue to do so now. She said I should not allow the fact that I completely lost my mind when I decided to remarry to influence my gun buying decisions. Thank God for such a loving and understanding woman in my life. However, she has removed all access to her banking accounts from me and is checking the home loans daily in case of new increases.
