Hey guys Steve seen my post on the AR15 website and sent me over here to you. I just picked up a 15-2HV pac from a guy as was wondering what it's true value is.
It is truly to bad that this DW was in the hands of people that just don't take care of things as it appears to me it was shoot very little but never cleaned or handled properly. The rifling in all of the barrels is still sharp and without pitting but looks like all of the barrel shrouds are nicked or scratched in one way or another. It appears the 6 inch barrel got it the worst as it has pitting at the rear of it, maybe it was used for hunting?? The frame has a wear mark onit just below the hammer also. It came with a B-square scope mount and a cheap Tasco 3×20 scope, unfortunately the yellow cloth the scoped was wrapped up in was the liners for the case.
I'll add some links to the pistol pac and let me know what you think.
Regards, Eric.

Eric-
Try reposting you images with the “Direct” link. Glad you found it OK
Steve
edit: I was posting while you were fixing, they open now when double clicked.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

First off, welcome aboard.
I realize that the scratches & stuff probably look worse in real lif than they do in your pics, but from here it looks like it's in pretty good shape. Not flawless, but decent shape for being 25-30 years old.
I assume the patch & buckle are missing? Do you have a barrel wrench?
Judging from it's condition & the amount of pieces I see in that first pic, I'd say it would be worth a minimum of $600...and maybe a high of $750 to $800, if it was being auctioned on GB, or similar.
That's merely my guess though, see what others say.

That's a real shame, as complete sets with case are highly valued by DW collectors. As a complete pac it's worth the sum of it's parts currently about $600, however, with a good going through and refinishing to factory spec's it could be worth over $900+.
I based the current price on fair to good condition of the parts.

Thanks for the info, Also thank you Steve for letting me know where to check on the DW.
I may just drop it in your For Sale section to see what happens. I'm afraid to take Steve's suggestion of shooting it a few times as I may end up keeping it This thing is awfully smooth.
