I have Monson DW 15-2 that recently started to have the action start sticking. It starts to hang about 3/4ths of the pull in either SA or DA. I have never had the barrel off so it shouldn't be the gap. I opened the side plate up and sprayed some rem oil in it and that seemed to really help it, but back at the range it started again after about 30 rounds of WWB 38 special.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

revisit the barrel gap, measure it on all six chambers. You may have some buildup on the cylinder face or barrel/forcing cone. Check the grip screw, overly tight can bind the action. And, just check it out inside, more thorough cleaning and inspection, possibly a spring change.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Agree, bite the bullet and clean it, down to the smallest.
If you just aren't confident what's an acceptable charge from a gunsmith?
One and 1/2 - two hours?
I know analog watches need to be strip-cleaned about every 5 years. How mant ticks is that.

Thanks guys, that wasn't going to be my next consideration.
I saw when I had the sideplate off where parts were rubbing the sideplate as well as one another. What would be the best thing to use on those parts? I read somewhere to use an arkansas stone others say pencil eraser.

Dust,
Especially since you've been shooting lead I would suggest using a lead wipe away cloth to polish off the build up on the cylinder face. You can clean it right down to the metal that way. It is easier on a stainless gun than blued, with blued guns you have to be judicious as to when to stop.

Another interesting cause for having the trigger pull bind (or hammer cock bind) is the upper side plate screw. I had taken apart 2 frames to tune up, did that and then put them back together. After about 20 dry fires, one revolver (both are 15-2) started having severe binding problems. It took me quite a while to figure out that the top side plate screw had loosened up a bit. Tightened that down and everything was copasetic...
