I've added the scope to my old/new to me DW, and now want a holster of some type to carry it in.
I've seen holsters w/scopes advertised, but what I've seen, ref a S&W 44 Mag but nothing bigger, which I think I need bigger to fit this one in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As heavy as it is with the scope, a bandolier (might be spelled wrong) might be what I need?

I use a holster designed for a scoped TC contender. I wear it cross draw and it works well still hunting or sitting in a stand, it just slides around to sit in my lap when sitting, on my back side when climbing, or cross draw for standing / walking.

I like the leather Hunter Holsters

I use the belt mount models , but advise you wear suspenders or tighten
your belt or you will find your drawers around your knees

I like the vertical shoulder holsters for the heavier/larger revolvers. But since we have to wear a coat about 9 months of the year where I live, that means getting a Concealed Carry Permit.
I also carry with Belt Mounted holsters, but if you don't want to pull your pants down like Blacktop said, get some suspenders, or get a gun belt to wear over your regular belt. Make sure the gun belt adjusts easy if you are going to wear it under your coat on some days and over your coat on others.
I never tried the Bandoleer, have thought about it though and looks interesting.
