Hello everyone.........l am a new member to this forum and need some help with regards to a DW Revolver.
What l am looking for is a Stainless DW Revolver in .22 Calibre with a 5 inch barrel either new or pre-owned.
Can anyone give me some idea as to prices and availability in and around the Florida area ?
Your thoughts or comments would be very much appreciated

Welcome to the forum and our side of the pond.
Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe there are 5" Model 22, in either blue or stainless. Prices vary depending on locale, condition and extras. Model 22's are fairly popular so unless you get lucky, I'd guess you'll pay $400 and probably more for a stainless Model 22 with a six inch barrel. I've got a blued Model 22 with an 8" barrel in very good condition. I got into a bit of a bidding war and spent $615 without shipping and FFL fees.
Online sources you can watch are Gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com and gunsamerica.com, proxibid.com. There are others; I just don't know them. They will be more expensive but easier to find something.
Locally, you will just have to visit gun and pawn shops. You might print some cards with your name, contact number and what you are looking for. A shop owner will probably call you if they come up with something. Just watch the condition. They are there to make a buck and not necessarily look out for you.
There are some Florida residents here who can probably make some specific shop recommendations.
Another alternative is to go gun shows. You just have to go from table to table and hope you find what you are looking for. Sometimes there are good deals; sometimes sellers think their wares are solid gold.
Good luck. And again, .

Welcome to DWF.
A stainless .22 lr Dan Wesson revolver is a Model 722. Barrel length will be 2 1/2", 4", 6", 8", and longer. There are no new manufactured Dan Wesson revolvers, you may possibly find a New in Box (NIB) item at a very high cost.
I don't know much about Florida prices, generally I'd say that a good condition/quality 722 6V/VH will cost $400-600, likely toward the higher end of that range.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Here's one but he wants a lot for it. Personally, I'd pass on it.

Honestly, for a decent looking 722 with two extra barrels, I don't think the $1100 asking price is out of line at all. I'd snap it up myself, if I had the buckage.
On the 5" barrel subject, what these guys have said is true. I don't believe DW made a 22 with a 5" barrel, or at least nobody has seen one in captivity so far. If you want a 5" DW, you will have to settle for a .357 or .44 Fixed Barrel gun from the Palmer plant...
I think the motto with the FB guns was kinda the same as Burger King..."have it your way".

There were some custom barrel and shrouds out there so it is possible. I have seen a 5" 357 barrel and shroud and I believe Jody has a 41 or something with a 5". DW and Burger King did have that in common. But I have never seen a 5" 22, although we may just know the guy who can make it a reality.
