I picked up a 6" barreled 15-2 from the monson area. Has some blueing warn off on the barrel and a little bit of light rust under the edge of the packaderm grips. Put and old wood grip on for now. Think its a fairly early one with a serial number in the 149,000's. real tight action and in some ways better than my other one. Now look'n for a 2 1/2" barrel combo.
A guy on the Carolina Shooters Forum had a 357 pistol pack down to 750 if still there. There is a firearm section where for sales are listed. Don't need it so pass along.

Yeah, I have gotten two DW with surface rust under rubber grips... all my guns are now stored with wood grips... mostly LB grips ( hehe).
Congrats on the purchase.
