As promised. It is #202XXX a little older than the one I bought new in 1980 (251XXX).
$650 cash. I think I did OK and another one will remain complete.

Well I finally got out to the range today. I ran about 100 rounds of different loads with typical results, it's a shooter. I think this may have doubled or tripled the round count on this one. I only tried th 8v.
The really frustrating thing, and I have had this happen a couple of times before was.. The first shot, two handed, but offhand and casual was pretty much dead center bull at 25 yards. I wish I could do that every time.

I will guess…
That's because the first one was a surprise. After that you were timing the feel
of the trigger break and you have to fight doing that, if every shot is a true
surprise every time your groups will always tighten up. It's a mind thing that
plagues every shooter whether in high stress or casual shooting situtions.
I had a sick period shooting sporting clays that this affected me untill I
finally got myself to totally block out everything and zone in on target.
Keep your mind on the target and off the trigger and you will hit your mark
everytime, atleast….that works for me.
