Here's the new to me gun. It's a 32 mag.I have the case that came with and the shroud and gun wrappers under the foam.Serial is TFP 0031A.The dates on them are April 1979,so I'm guessing from what i've read that this is around the time frame that it was built. The gun is,in my opinion,at least 95% condition and shoots great.Any ideas on what it's worth? Thanks,Dave

First to the . Nice field pistol. By chance is the letters on the serial number IFP as I believe it stands for international field pistol and with the A at the end their should have been a B in another caliber. Either way nice Dan.

Welcome to the forum, and very nice pistol! I believe 1 or 2 members here bought Field Pistols in the last couple months on Gunbroker, but I can't remember who they were or what they paid. At any rate it is an awesome Dan Wesson to have, especially retaining the original case and everything.

Thanks for the welcome guys.I know how it shoots.I shot it about 18 years ago.The guy that had it back then actually won it at a shoot here in Wichita.Back in 1979.I finally got to talk to him yesterday. He had sold it to a guy and he traded it off.I ended up with it on a trade over the weekend. He won several plaques with the gun over the years.I'm going to try and get some time this weekend to load some up and try it out.Dave
