I'm trying to learn what years the guns were produced, and I also wonder if anyone has any idea as to the total number of guns produced across the caliber ranges.

Here is a little info about the SuoerMags in general, and DW in particular

http://dwcollectors.org/archives/125

At a guess, DW SuperMags were introduced in 1980, probably never going to know how many were made.

Nice see a new Spartan avatar here, someone will be along soon to give you a hard time-ignore him he's outnumbered nowbig-grin

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

There's probably enough info on the internet and here to determine what specific year each SM was introduced if you have the time to research it.  And as to the second part of your question, the answer is no, no one knows the total number of guns produced across all calibers.

OK, Game ON

WikiPedia: The wolverine, pronounced /ˈwʊlvərn/Gulo gulo (Gulo is Latin for "glutton"), also referred to as gluttoncarcajouskunk bear, or quickhatch, is the largest land-dwelling species of the family Mustelidae (weasels). Weasel?

Also WikiPedia: The Spartiates (Greek: Σπαρτιάται, "Spartans") or Homoioi (Greek: Ὅμοιοι, "those who are alike") were the males of Spartaknown to the Spartans as "peers" or "men of equal status". From a young age, male Spartiates were trained for battle and put through grueling challenges intended to craft them into fearless warriors. In battle, they had the reputation of being the best soldiers in Greece, and the strength of Sparta's hoplite forces let the city become the dominant state in Greece throughout much of the Classical period. No other city-state would dare to attack Sparta.

Consider the strong likelihood that I have carefully selected my sources, but

"Fearless Warriors"

"Weasel"

And let's not forget the guy with the "peacock" comment, among the top 5 hits on a Google search for "Cornhuskers" is

http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/corn-huskers-lotion/ID=prod6057966-product

Lotion? Well, it DOES "moisturize and soften skin", that could be important to some people.

What can I say Jim (Beam) and I are planning to be here ALL evening.

" I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part"

I know all about "futile and stupid gestures", Trust Me!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Um, OK, I got nothing... But NE has 7-0 record vs State.... Nebraska's first two games against MSU came back before it was called Michigan State.  Indeed, James Howell's database doesn't even consider the Michigan Agricultural College to have been a DI-A school.  So, it should be expected that Nebraska handily won the first two matches (1914 and 1920).  Actually, Nebraska has handily won all five matches between the schools: 50-10 in 1995, 55-14 in 1996, and 17-3 in the 2003 Alamo Bowl. Finally, 2-0 since joining the Big 10....

This, by the way, may possibly be my most outrageous Topic hijack of all time, but we're off and running now, and that guy in Texas has not jumped in yet.

That guy in Texas has been out drinking with the ladies tonight, and not with the 4 legged kind like at Moo Yooo. (you do know that the reason they originally put in artificial turf at MSU was to keep the homecoming queen from grazing?)

Damn this some kind of fun. It's great when you can co-opt someone to join your battle.  big-grinHey Ron, any tequila left? Pass it over man.occasion

My question...oh yeah...how did Nebraska mange to get into a division that has no competition?  At least they still have to play everyone in basketball.

And Michigan? Are they still playing football there? How did that bowl game that they backed into last winter go.

Now we gotta get Jeff to go Site Supporter so we can take this bar fight to the Lounge and Get It On!

There are actually a couple of family "M-Holes" coming to CT for U of M vs UConn in late September. I doubt UConn will present much of a challenge frown
