Good afternoon. I wanted to post a question to those who much more experianced in Dan Wessons than I am. I noticed that on CZ's website they have replacement barrels for the model 15 in 2.5" (the last I spoke to the rep, they still don't have any availible due to the fire, but they will have some in the future). I guess my question is this. Are the new barrels equal in quality and accuracy as the older ones. I didn't buy the pistol pack, but wanted to expand my barrel collection over time. Is it better to check GB or Ebay to look for vintage barrels? Just eanted to know what you all thought.

If your intent is to re-create a DW Pistol pack as originally as possible, you need to shop for original Monson (or Palmer) BA's. If you want to shoot, by all means use anything that fits.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Agreed.
Since EWK currently offers mainly the EH (Extra Heavy) barrel assemblies, the online sites may be your best bet. But if you're looking for a heavy 2.5" BA, then EWK is a surefire way to go.
