One minute you are browsing the used pistol selection at your LGS; you see an old revolver and notice its a Dan Wesson. Since you already own a couple of excellent DW 1911s, you think "this is a really neat old piece that deserves a good home".
Then you take it to the range. Once you start shooting it, you can't stop.
The next thing you know, you're on GB paying Python money for a mint condition Pistol Pack and haunting the on-line markets in search of the elusive 4" barrel for your 22VH.
They should come with a warning from the Surgeon General!

Parker, good to hear from you. Don't worry, you are here where you belong, as you know many of us are likewise infected.
And yes, we should have
Revolvers and/or 1911s we like 'em all

You guys need to be careful, for years after I got my 15 VH I was lucky to find a place to shoot it. Buying another?! I could order one at whatever Rod and Gun club in whatever country I was in, but it might take 1 1/2 years to come in and I was in another place by then. It was not just my family I drug all over the planet. Then I retired and got the Mosin bug. Then the 1895 Mosin bug and so on and so on. Then I found you guys, and dug out the DW, talk about renewing a love affair! This .357 is one hell of a revolver.

Yes they have a that quality. I own 3 S&W's , but I always grab the Dan Wesson's when I go out to shoot. I have 357 with 6 inch barrel and it's little bro 22lr with 6 inch barrel also a 44 mag 4 and 8 in. When I miss the bullseye with the 22lr, it is never the gun, it is my shooting. It will be the last gun I get rid of. I wish every other mfg built their 22's on a 357 frame.

The best part of this is that when I'm working with a new shooter, I start them out on the 22/722, then step up to 15-2/7i5 in .38 spl, then .357 mag, and it's all exactly the "same" gun.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
