Hello All,
I need some experienced input, please. So I purchased a 4" blued barrel assembly on Gun Broker for my 15-2. I have shot it a few times and find that this 4" set up seems to shoot consistently left of where my 6" barrel shoots. Is this normal? I don't like the idea of having to move the sights each time I change barrels. Do I have a barrel issue? I have thought about maybe changing to a different barrel. I see that EWK has 4" stainless barrels available. Can I use a stainless barrel on a blued frame? I don't think that it would be noticed once covered by a blued shroud but would there be anything negative about stainless threads into a blue steel frame? Will changing barrels even help? Does anyone have any other ideas? Please advise.
Thanks

You can use stainless barrels in blue frames and visa versa, no issue. Weather it will fix your issue....? Try one and see. I usually only see elevation differences between barrel lengths, not windage. Make sure the shroud is engaging the alignment pin and is snug on the frame. Also be sure barrel nut is centered in the shroud and snug, not over tight.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
