Here you go:
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well me and my dad just spend several hours trying to remove the stuck barrel using everything imaginable.
Does anyone know the contact information for Dan Wesson at CZ to see if I can ship it to them and have them remove the barrel and shroud?
How about you just leave that one alone and shoot it to death !!! (maybe you'll rattle the nut loose) ...buy yourself another DW to swap barrels on ... You're gonna end up with a few anyhow...

Glad to hear you finally got it apart. Did the smith tell you what he had to do? Was he able to get the barrel nut off or did he have to remove the whole assembly? I'm curious because I bought this yesterday.

For $52.00 I have to at least try to bring it back to life. And possibly try my hand at oxpho blue.

I can tell you this-- some of my 10" and longer barrels are a very tight fit. They just don't slide out of the shroud by themselves. (some of them do--I have a 10VH in front of me that is like ice on ice).
You may need to try and press it out with a wooden dowel.
Good buy -- i would have bought it also.

I got the 10" barrel assembly apart.
To get things moving I had to use of a Haeger hydraulic fastener press. After we ran out of room on the Haeger it was on to a manual arbor press with a 4 pound sledge smacking the ram while I was hanging on the arm. The barrel tube is trash. The shroud has some waves. The barrel tube has 5, yes 5 bulges.
I hope Eric is goiing to be making 10" barrels.

You can see the bulges in the bore at the right angle from the muzzle end. If you look down from the frame end the bore looks fine. I saw waves in the shroud before I started to get physical with it. As soon as the bulge area was past the end of the shroud it came out with ease. No rust between the barrel and shroud.
Since there is some doubt, I will clarify. I can't say for sure that stuck bullets caused the bulges. It is possible that someone before me bulged this with their method of trying to seperate the shroud from barrel.
I don't believe that is the case. Enough pressure to bulge the barrel 5 times before it starts to slide out of the shroud? nah.
I knew going in there were issues with this. I rolled the dice hoping it was rust and not bulges.
