Do any of you folks know if this barrel wrench from the cz dan wesson website is constructed so that the part going inside the barrel is a soft metal or plastic.
The picture looks like it is all steel. DWR010144 - WRENCH KIT 44 MAG I recently bought a 44 model and obviously there was no barrel wrench. The wrenches seem to be in shorter supply than the revolvers.

I don't know about CZ but with my small frame EWK wrench, the part that goes into the barrel is aluminum. It's a very good wrench at $28.

The best thing about the EWK is that you can purchase new pilots when you purchase new calibers of the same frame size.... much less expensive.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

The $28 wrench at EWK is OUT OF STOCK. I sent a email to the site about when they might be available again but no response yet.
I noticed that the EWK website, at least as far as I got, does not show HTTPS on url, the S being the important part for secure. I am new to DWF
so forgive me but is the EWK site a known good site. I am wary of the internet when it comes to personal data and security. Be very happy to get one for $28.
The EWK site will notify me when the wrench is available again but no date in the auto-response.

I've purchased multiple accessories from Eric at EWK & it's a sure thing. He's a good guy and makes terrific products.
