You mean like one of these?
I actually bought the 8" for the 715 though to "sort of" complete the set. I found it at a shop that was going out of business. Owner says "I'll make you a deal you can't refuse: $80 out the door" for the barrel assembly. I said, "you're right, I can't refuse."
What I really need is a Patridge front sight for that 8".

DW/CZ sells Patridge front sights
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I would say $80 for an 8"VH was a great deal!
For a patridge sight, you might want to try highlighting the faq's on the header at the top of this page, and then click on 'where can I order parts'. You might want to try contacting Dan Wesson directly without going through CZ. I believe they still have many parts that aren't on the CZ sight.

You guys should know that NVGdude is a long time DWF Member, and VERY actively supports DW's and DWF on ar15.com. Anytime a DW revolver question comes up there, he is always in on it before me.
