i'm looking to pick up some speedloaders for my 14 and soon my 22LR DW.  I bought an HKS and really don't like the twist.  Who puts together a good speedloader with say a pushbutton or other technology?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I use the Safariland Comp II speed loaders.  I like the shorter length, they fit in my case easier and I don't compete so they work fast enough for my needs.  Buy the loading block while you are at it, makes it worth having the speed loaders.  If you want some bling, check out 5 star:  http://www.5starfirearms.com/357_38-Caliber/departments/8/

For DW 14 & 15 models; according to Safariland's site.

Safariland Comp I   = none offered

Safariland Comp II  = 4J-K2C,  mine have S&WK2C printed on the 'star' spacer that holds the rounds steady.

Safariland Comp III = 8J-K2S

I don't have the 5-STAR for my Dans but, do have one for my little Rugers and the rounds rattle quite a bit in the loader; though I've never had them fall out.

You never have to "twist" the little knob on the Speed Beez ............not for loading into the speedloaders or putting them in the gun

The Safariland comp II I have and it's such a piece of crap I nearly hurled it down range during my last shooting session.

There's no point in a "speedloader" if it's not reliable (both for picking up the bullets and for dropping them into the cylinders).   The Safariland fails miserably at both.
