Just picked up my BRAND NEW Dan Wesson 715 Stainless Steel .357mag revolver .......is there some trick to opening the gun to load bullets. I'm trying to push down on the release and its not moving ?????? This is my first Dan Wesson

The latch doesn't move much....push down on the latch and at the same time push the cylinder out from the right side. If the cylinder doesn't readily swing open take it back to the dealer and have them show you.

Finally figured it out, not used to a front cylinder release ...I was pushing towards the gun as much as I was pushing down .........daaa. .......... I LOVE the revolver, serious piece of steel .......... I've already purchased the 8" optional barrel in advance

I purchased mine on the CZ web site ........they sell 10" barrels too ..... CZ owns Dan Wesson now 5/17/2015
