Looks like a nice one. Can't tell if it's nickel, chrome, or polished stainless? It is actually a mod. 15, the predecessor to the 15-2. The mod. 14 would have fixed sights.

From here, it looks like a correct factory nickel model 15, and for $600, he got a killer deal IMO!

Sorry, no. The "foot" on the shroud holds the cylinder in place on that 15. which would be absent on a -2 shroud.
