How about a blued 3″ fixed barrel Model 15?Laugh

This was on AA last week, under the 'ol “Wesson Firearms” listing trick.Wink It looked pretty clean from the pics, so I sat back & waited…it came down to the final minutes & no bidders. $349 + 'chipping & it was mine.Laugh

It came with no box or papers, just the gun. Man, what a CLEAN gun…looks like it's barely had a box of ammo run through it. I'm happy to have another nice piece to the DW collection puzzle taken care of…now I just need a stainless one of these.Confused This one's so shiny that it almost looks stainless in these two shots!

Yeah, it's time to mow my grass.lol2

Three inches, shown here in this crappy pic.

I almost forgot. This is the first rubber Hogue grips I've had...these things fit the gun REALLY nice! I mean like a glove! Yep, I'm impressed. 😀

CF,

Nice aquisition!  occasion  That is very clean and shiny.  Has some deep blueing that I could see uh well you know.  Very nice set of Cool Pics too.  You are getting quite a fast growing collection of DW's there.  Any 445's creeping up on you yet?

Got to agree with you there - I got a Hogue grip for my Model 15-2 about 2 weeks ago, and the difference in shooting the gun is unbelieveable. Can shoot it all day, doesnt slip when your hand gets a little tired etc. Love 'em.

Also got lucky on ebay and won a grip - I think its called a Sacramento?? - often have seen them here in pistol pacs. I reckon they look like recoil tamers - back to the range to make some more noise when they arrive........

The Hogue monogrip is my favorite grip on any handgun I own.  But people either seem to love 'em or hate 'em.  I think too they give you the best control on the gun.  I even have a set on my Smith 617.

Very nice DW!  I'm a long time fan of the Monogrips.  I have them on several pistols, including a few DW's (most of my Pistol paks get a set).  For $20 a set you can't go wrong...

I hope the weather guessers are wrong about the rain forcast for this weekend, I want to go out & try out this new grip!Laugh It seems a little more narrow in the pinky area than I'm used to, but the rest feels great...can't wait.Range Time

Do the wood Hogues feel the same? They look a little fatter, which I may like even more.

Another nice score there CF! Cool Pics  And of course, GTDW

Lots of ancestral images there too. Laugh I've used the old grass shots myself in the past. The mowing can wait when it comes to gun stuff.

Oops, forgot to answer you earlier.Embarassed

I sure hope so. I really thought I would have landed one by now...problem is that these smaller guns come along a little cheaper, so I have been jumping on them when I can. Eventually, I'd like to have pretty much one example of everything DW, so I'm looking at it as filling in puzzle pieces as they come along.

I'd really love to get that 2-barreled .445 IHMSA gun, but dang...it 'taint cheap!Surprised   lol2

I was running the Wesson Firearms search pretty consistently, and stopped when nothing came up. Just out of curiosity, was it for a shop in New Hampshire? That's were I got my 744 as a "Wesson Firearms" on GB

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

This one came from California, the guy didn't have "Dan" anywhere in the auction ad. I admit that I don't do the Wesson Firearms search too often either, because it rarely comes back with anything...I just got lucky this time.

Hey Charger,

That's a very cool variation you picked up there.  I have seen 5" fixed barrels but never a 3".  Not sure that I have seen a blued fix barrel either (I might be wrong on that one).

Nice score!

Well guys, lightning struck twice!Cool This time I netted myself exactly what I was hoping for earlier, a matching stainless FB to go with my blued gun.Laugh This one has been fired a little more than the blued one, but it's still pretty darn tight. It's raining here today & my camera didn't care for the lighting I had to work with on some these pics.Embarassed

This one also came with it's box & manual, both in great shape. There's that funky Palmer logo…

…but once the sleeve is slipped off, you're greeted with this. I might have to make an avatar out of this one day, it looks cool. Smile
