Go ahead... stick the fork in yourself. You're done! big-grin

My brother suffers from the same affliction.

I got a little concerned when I saw my name in the subject line of the posting. Had flashbacks to my youth... what did I do wrong, what did I break and did I remember to hide it......wow

Someday, oh Someday, I will get the high polish 715 done.

A rarely used DWF acronym:

CRA= Corrosion Resistant Aficianado

And anyone that tries to add any word to that acronym that begins with a "P" seriously puts their DWF Membership at risk range-time

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'll have to admit the stainless bug is a hard one to kick. I was all about blue guns until that 10" stainless 357 showed up. Now I'm passing up deals on blues and saving my pennies for stainless.

I guess I am always one to swim against the current. I like blued Dans better, and have sold off a couple stainless.

   I bought a spectacular blued 44 from Vonfatman a couple months ago, and ended up selling my 744 that it replaced.

   Here is one of Vonfatman's pics of it, I have not been able to equal his photo skills yet-

 Edit: Does that make me a BRA- Blued Revolver Aficionado??

Who's the President of the CRA...?

Don't know about President, but I'd be interested to know how many some of our more prolific collectors own?

I only have 3 Stainless DW revolvers, but that is 50% CRA ratio, plus 100% on DW 1911's

not home now, but off the top of my head...  722, 714, 709, 715(several), 732, 732-20, 744, RZ-10, .... and I sold the 741 a long time ago...

Ron and I offset each other--I think between the two of us we have most of them covered.

If my elementary math skills are correct I am at 36% CRA.  The reality is though the ratio is more controlled by availability and financial resources than preference.

While I love my various blued DW's, There's no way I would give up the stainless ones I currently own. Especially this 8" 7445 wearing a ETG s/n.wink
