Had occasion for an EWK 8" barrel to go bad on me on a 15-2. I still haven't figured out how that happened, but that's not the story. After looking on GB for used replacements and not seeing anything but trash, I finally called EWK and asked was a new barrel by its lonesome possible.
Well, we got to trading emails and Eric remembered I had just bought the whole barrel/ sleeve setup just months before. He asked to see the barrel, so I sent it and he cut it open to look.
He came back with a price that must have been his cost on the barrel. I was astounded. And thankful. It turned out to be hundreds cheaper than the rusty hulks on GB... and brand new.
So I just want to let everyone know how happy I am with the service from EWK. And now the lady is back in business....
