Thank you.

I've been in love with the 1911's up till now, but I got to tell ya, I think I just found a new love. I havent even shot it yet and i'm already looking for a DW 740 or a 744.

My wife is going to freak out that I've found a new obsession

OK, here we go:

Companion site to DWF, a support group for the spouses (that's a site that will require some MAJOR bandwidth)

Wait! What was I thinking. Bad Dog Slap

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's a beauty of a 40 and welcome to the 40 club.  The best way to feed the beast is to roll your own.  Brass can be found on the auction sites regularly and an inexpensive Lee single stage set will get you started; if the primer and powder shortage ever lets up.  I use a 200gr cast LBT long flat nose GC bullet crimped on the 2nd groove(over recommended OAL) but shoots less than 1" groups at 50yds with sandbag rest.  It's taken deer out to 150 yds and bang/flop, no tracking.

Dave Severn is one of the smartest 1911 guys out there
