I was looking on GunBroker this morning and came across some Commemorative Dan Wesson Revolvers.  Thought I would share some of the pictures.

They sure are beautes.  I've seen some at gun shows; real works of art.  I actually saw one for sale at a show that had been fired and fired alot, still looked good, but not pristine.  They still wanted a premium price for it though.

Maybe it's just me but I don't really like them.  I just don't get it.  I much prefer the clean look of a solid blue revolver.  Stainless looks nice but still maybe a little too flashy for me.  Maybe if they were hand engraved I might like them a little better but to me laser engraving looks a bit tacky.  To each his own.

Bluechip,  I would have to agree with you.  These are a little to fancy looking for me but thought I would add them as a reference.

I personally like a gun I can shoot.

A local gun shop where I live has two of these (NY and GA) and he only wants around $900 for his.  If anyone is into these let me know and I'll get you his contact info.  Again just posting these as a reference.

I called on these. . . very nice guys and from their descriptions. . . mint condition .445 supermags. Price has come down a little and they are Norwich manufacture (NY & GA)

If I hadn't recently purchased a 44VH Pistol Pac and .445 SM, I'd be talking myself into these.

Someone call and pick these up!

Centennial Limited Edition, Pledge of Allegiance commemorative, Dan Wesson Arms .44 Magnum

This is a Centennial Limited Edition, Pledge of Allegiance commemorative, Dan Wesson Arms .44 Magnum revolver with a 8 3/8" barrel. It is beautiful, patriotic, unfired, and in like new condition with no cosmetic issues at all. It has American Flag simulated ivory grips and rich, deep blueing. On the left side under the cylinder it reads: "Centennial Limited Edition" On the left side of the barrel it has the Pledge of Allegiance. This pristine example sports a gold trigger, hammer, and sights.

Hey, I bought that gun before, lol. I only paid $1300 as opposed to the $2800 asking price. The only problem was that they sold it to someone else before me. I've heard of parents sharing joint custody but not gun owners.

I bet my .44 was going to look like the "Bear" gun at the top, if they had finished it...
