I tried to search for some more information but would like to be a little better informed and also get some opinions.

I purchased a 732 a few months back with the original box.  I'm toying with the idea of opening it up to accept 327 magnum.  I'm not sure what this modification really entails and also what it does to the value of the gun.  I really have no need for a 327 magnum but it would be a pretty neat to have that ability plus it sounds like a fun varmint round.  I figure the gun should be stout enough for it, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure if it really affects the value of the gun, but I was thinking if it does, I could try to track down either another 32 cylinder or maybe a 22 cylinder and have them modify it so that I have the original.

It can be done but it will negatively impact value IMO.  I like your idea of a second cylinder made in 327 federal.  The factory could probably do that for you. Call kieth and see what he says.

I think getting a new cylinder from the factory, reamed to fit the 327 would be a great idea. You can save the original cylinder so the gun can always be returned to original with no loss of value. Also, you can specify an unfluted cylinder from factory and that would be cool.

Thanks for your help.  I'll look into getting a second cylinder and that unfluted cylinder idea sounds awesome!  Forgive my ignorance, but do I just contact CZ customer service regarding a second cylinder?

It's best to call Keith directly. His number is here somewhere. Or, at least be sure to call the Dan Wesson direct line, rather than the CZ number. I've heard that calling the CZ number will result in folks who know nothing and don't help. Have not called them my self in a couple years.

From FAQ:

Dan Wesson Firearms in Norwich, NY provide parts and service for all Dan Wesson Revolvers (Pork-Chops excluded). For parts contact Genny or Priscilla at 607.336.1174 ext 21 and for service or repairs contact Keith 607.336.1174 ext 24. Genny’s email address is genny@cz-usa.com and Keith’s email address is keith@cz-usa.com.

Hello, the seller of the 32Mag that "Mr Man " bought for $1101 the other day said that Keith at DW  would convert the gun to 327 Magnum for $50 plus shipping. We know who Mr. Man from Fla is don't we ?

It IS I. When my IT department set my Gunbroker account she (the wife) used a pet name of her own choosing.  I try to avoid bidding wars and grab those super BIN's that pop up now and then. That 32 mag was to nice to lose. In the two years I have been infected with DWAS I have had a great time being part of the forum. Everyone here seems a stellar Human Being and I am very grateful to be a member.  A shout out to all those I have communicated with including but not limited to snake-eye, Ar-tex, and Pops.   Now, about that 32. I haven't decided whether to send it to DW. I should get it next week. I am going to see if 327 will chamber and what condition the gun is in first. I have acquired quite a herd and don't feel compelled to shoot every one. I may save that 32 for one of your children to play with one future decade.
