to the nuthouse. The cylinder latch spring is installed in a sort of horseshoe fashion so if you remove it and clean/adjust the position a little it may correct your slant. I can't say for sure but it is easy enough to try. A tiny Allen wrench is all that is needed IIRC.

Actually, I think it's a very small slotted screw. It's very simple to remove and clean out the pocket that the spring rides in. Since the spring is actually bent into a "U" or horseshoe shape, it's likely that the spring is broken.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
