Somehow or other my DW 15-2 357 lost the little half moon cylinder stop piece. I ordered and received a replacement today from DW. Has anyone else replaced this little bugger? Did you use locktight or what? Was thinking about dropping in tomorrow on my fav gunsmith and asking him to take pity on me.
Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks! This forum has been and continues to be a great resource.

FWIW-This is rapidly becoming the most common DW Small Frame issue. I continue to believe that this was a design flaw in earlier 15-2's that got resolved by making this part of the sideplate more integral and less sharply defined, less prone to breaking off.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hard to disagree with you since this happened to my own DW 357, which was built around 1980 or so. Anyway, I got the part from CZ/DW and my Smith is going to figure out how to attach it.

UPDATE: Got my little cylinder stop part from DWA and got it installed, so this little adventure is over with. The gun looks fine. Priscilla at CZ/DWA knew exactly what part I was talking about and she was very nice.
