Hello everyone,
I am having a bit of trouble getting my Model 15's cylinder to release from the crane. I have been trying to give the revolver a very thorough cleaning as it was filled with gunk and I cannot get the cylinder to release from the crane. The ejector rod and ejector star come out fine, but the small bearing the cylinder revolves around and the spring inside the cylinder just will not release. Worse yet, the cylinder will no longer rotate as it seems to bind and lock the gun up.
Have any of you experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?
Thanks for helping me out.

Kroil and time. If you want to heat up the metal, use a paint stripping type heat gun. That will allow the metal to expand and contract, helping the Kroil to creep and eventually allowing you to get them apart.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Thanks for all the responses! I really appreciate it. Eventually, I got it free from the old grease, oil, dirt, and crap that had congealed under there. I used an old C&R trick of wrapping the part in a plastic bag and leaving it sit on the dash of a car under direct sunlight. Even with the winter sun, I managed to loosen it and wiggle it free with a bit of finagling. I am definitely going to get some Kroil to have on hand next time! Got it apart and all cleaned now. I really appreciate all the help and suggestions!
Thanks!
