The serial # would put it around 1979-80, going by our serial # archive.

This revolver would be a model 15-2? Seller called it a model 15. Which is it?

Model 14+15 were porkchop models and were superseded by 14-2 fixed sight and 15-2 adjustable sight models somewhere around the end of 1975 I think. Check out the serial # registry on the right hand of page. All subsequent .357 's are 14-2+15-2. The shroud and latter the hammer are the only visual changes I know of. Old Dog

15-2 6V (6" Vent Rib), easily the most common configuration of Dan Wesson revolvers.
