I 've just purchased 2 DW 22 lr revolvers and what I'm looking to find out is if it's possible to convert 1 to 22 magnum.I've tried to talk to the factory (boy is it just me or do they not know what customer service means--impossilble to get thru to them) and Shelly said they sell the cylinders (but only to a FFL?) but I don't know if the cylinder will fit the frame.Has anyone got any tips?

The cylinder will fit but the ejector.star will need to be fitted to the hand for proper timing. That's why the only send them to an ffl. I was thinking if using my old star in a new cylinder to avoid the timing problem. Otherwise its a fairly strait forward modification.

Send the gun to them (Norwich) and have them do it. The cylinder/ejector star also have to be fitted length-wise to get the proper fit with minimal endshake. Even if you were to have the parts shipped to you there's no guarantee to you that the whoever does it is going to do it right. Save yourself the headache beforehand and ship them the gun.
