I picked myself up a Nice Stainless Dan Wesson .32 H&R Magnum today.  It says 32M in the serial number, but is it really a 732?  I guess they made the 32 Mags in both material.

(Edit - I initially said that it says 32 in the model number, I meant Serial number...that's what I get for trying to do 3 things at once!).

It's a 732, the 7.denoting stainless steel. Nice gun! I think 32 is the perfect caliber for a small frame Dan.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's a really nice specimen you picked up there.  Congratulations on a nice find.

The case is black, not brown like my 15-2 Pistol Pak.  Any idea what color the fabric would have been?  I've seen some of the 744's and similar with red fabric and what appears to be a black case.

Black cases are older ones and usually didn't have any fabric inside, just bare foam.  Yellow/gold fabric is the usual factory color in the brown cases.  It's your gun so you can use what ever color fabric you like best.  I think the red is very classy.

Very nice .32 Pistol Pack.  That truly is a rare one. Not many of those show up.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Drop dead gorgeous. You lucky dog. I think that the later packs were black with no cloth also. Stainless came many years after the early black cases. The handle looks different too. I think blue cloth would look great.

Brass should be here tomorrow.  Did I hear correctly that Dan Wesson/CZ will convert these guns to 327 Federal?  If so, do they have new cylinders that they could send me a whole drop in crane/cylinder/extractor assembly?
