I have this revolver and it is in mint condition - even has an Aimpoint scope. I acquired it about 14 years ago. I have never shot it.
I tried finding information about it, however, it is not listed even in the Blue Book of Gun Values.
Can anyone point me to a resource or provide information on literature and value?
Thanks.

I haven't had a copy of the Blue Book for a long time, it's very inaccurate, IMHO. You should be able to find a lot of info on the value of the model 44 online, such as:
A 44 is one of the "large frame revolvers"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Wesson_Firearms
But Gunbroker is probably the best way to find the true value of almost any gun at this point in time. Check "completed items" for the final prices.
I bought my 44 about 10 years ago for $410. Not anywhere near that cheap now.
Good luck.

Rick,
You may be using the wrong search words. Try Dan Wesson .44 or Dan Wesson 44
The CTG is not part of the name, just an abbreviation of the word cartridge.
Technically it is a Model 44, Dan Wesson
A search of completed auctions on GunBroker should yield plenty of sales to compare.
