I have done some research and have not came up with much info mainly concerning the 15".....So I thought maybe everybody here could help me out....My uncle passed away the other day and I acquired a dan wesson pistol pac.....Condition of all 4 I would have to say are 98%.......And they all have the barrel alignment pin with the recessed barrel screw and all have the complete shrouds so I would have to say they are of the newer 15,15-2 style.....Here is what I have....
4 barrels no frame(barrels only w/shrouds) in.....2 1/2,4,8 and 15 inch blued
the 2 1/2,4 and 8 are vented regular style(non heavy) with sights
the 15" is non-vented regular style also but it has been drilled and tapped and has a one piece scope mount mounted on it.
I would like someone to give me an estimate as to what I should ask for all these 4 barrels and also does any one have any idea as to how many of the 15" barrels were made in this configuration and do you think the scope mount was factory or aftermarket!

To clarify, you have 2V, 4V, 8V, 15 complete Barrel Assemblies (complete would include front sight and barrel nut) all in 98% condition, however the 15 has been drilled and tapped. The 15 would not have come from the Factory in this condition.
The first three are very common, probably the most common configuration. They would probably sell in the $175-250 range each. The 15 is much less common and would probably go over $400.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

if the 15" is with the front sight then it was surely modified but if it doesn't have the slot for the front sight then it is a special factory order whivh would make it a rare style and could command a premium the others could being $150 to 275 depending on condition. hope this helps

Thank you for the replies gentleman......You are correct steve.....All have front sights,barrel nuts,shims and barrel nut tool......I'm just gathering as much info as I can right now....Everybody is telling me to put them on gunbroker but I still have alot of research to do so it probably will be at least another 2 or 3 months before I make that decision......Anyway thanks again!

FYI...I just put these on gunbroker if anyone is interested...In the pistol barrel section...I know several people were interested in the 15" barrel.
