Hey guys, I recently picked up a few grips off GB sight unseen and received one Ive never seen before.  Its similar to the Sacramento but rounder and fatter. Also its checkered. Its for the small frame. I do not know if it is DW stuff or aftermarket, just thought I would share and see if anyone knew who made this one.

I'm betting this was a factory offering but don't know for sure.  Very cool looking!

That grip looks similar to these Hogue grips, but I can't find an application in this style for DW.

I don't have a clue who made the grip. I won the bid off GB for 3 grips for $30 with a description only there were no pictures. I was hoping they would be nice cause the no pictures thing made me wonder, and then my payment got lost in the mail. Eventually we got it sorted out and I was pleased with the grips. But I have no information at all on this one. The other grips are a used over-sizedtarget grip and a new Sacramento. I was in hopes someone here would know about the grip.

The grip is close, but not quite like the Hogues, Although the Hogues really dress up the Smith and Ruger.

Pretty nice!  And a heckuva good deal to boot!

Any chance that someone with some skills made that bad boy out of a blank?

The grip appears to be production run. If not, the maker had some nice machinery and a lot of skill. The wood type is unusual too. It looks like ash or something similar. I have never seen wood like this on a grip before.

Is it meant for a large, or small frame gun?

That's odd that your payment got lost...I'm dealing with that very thing right now.Yell

It's a small frame, square tang. Yea the lost payment thing is a pain, but supposedly the post office will refund me the money order amount after 60 days if no one cashes it. At a $5 charge of course. Not to mention if someone cashes it, I'm just out of luck.

It will be a few more weeks before I find out if I get my refund or not. I hope yours works out well.

Someone must feel sorry for me, my math keeps getting easier.(2+5) I got to put my shoes back on.
