I've recently acquired a Dan Wesson in 32-20 and was looking for information about the gun, such as, was this a special order or how many of these were actually made. It shoots well, and handles a variety of reloads.

Sir, I regret to tell you that the DW you now own ias fairly uncommon. I;ve not ever come across one. I hope someone here will chime in and offer you some good information.
I'd love to have a DW in 32-20 as I already reload for the caliber...

Bob would be correct. The 32-20 is a pretty rare offering. I have only seen mention of two and never seen on in person!
Here is a picture of one that was listed on GunsAmerica some time ago for $1500. It does include extra barrels and shrouds as you can see.
I don't remember where this picture came from but here is 32-20 with a scope mounted.
32-20's are listing in the Blue Book as standard production guns however there is really no way to know how many were since the companies records have been turned over to BATF several times over the years when the company would go out of business.
So is yours blued or stainless? Post some pictures when you have time. I'm sorry there is so little know about this model...

I posted about a Dan Wesson 32-20 in the for sale Forum . It is at Mack & Daves in Huntington WVa. They are asking $599.00 for it but told me they would take $525.00 . It has an 8 in. Barrel with full underlug and is the Blued model . Looks like new .
