Good morning

Nothing against a Freedom but first I would rather have a 414 SM Dam Wesson over a Freedom anything.  Price could be about the same.

Next if I was in the market for a single action I would look into a BFR and plan on getting two different caliber or two barrel lengths.  As I wrote nothing against the Freedom's but I am a shooter and "show" has little reference in my shooting world.

Mike,

Not trying to argue with you, merely stating that I have a Freedom Arms .41 Magnum Silhouette and it is more than just show. Although I really love my Dan Wessons, the accuracy of this one beats them all. Still will never sell my DW's, but there is a place for a Freedom Arms. Plus, it was a birthday present from my wife.

IHMSA 80 is correct.  Almost nothing beats a Freedom Arms revolver.  They are almost

hand-made, and the cylinders are line bored with special fixture that screws in from the

front of frame, to align the cylinder chambers almost perfectly.  The retail price reflects

the time and attention to detail that makes them so accurate.  The NRA tested a Freedom

.22 rimfire revolver, and it was not only the most accurate revolver they ever tested, it

was also the most accurate .22 rimfire they ever tested, also.

Have you tried replacing the bolt spring. I had the same problem  with a 15-2.

Replacing the bolt spring took care of the problem. Dan Wesson does do good work on the revolvers if you prefer that route. Give her some new life!
