Hey first post here but a long time DW owner. Ordered my model 41 new way back when with a 4" VH barrel, it's a Monson gun. Since then I have picked up a 6" V and two 8" V barrels, scoped one of the 8" inchers. Does anyone on here own a 10" barrel? I have seen only one and it was attached to it's frame, guess I should have bought it but I thought one might show up someday. Guess they aren't quiet as plentiful as I thought, I haven't seen many of the 4" ones either for that matter.

Welcome! 41 barrels are scarce. I have a 10" but it didn't shoot for shine-ola. Looked at it closely and saw where someone cut a forcing cone on the muzzle end... haven't replaced the barrel yet; it's on my "one day" list.

The good news is that I found a round tuit after posting to this thread. My new tube should be here today. DW still had "a few" 10" in stock. Paid the same price as what is listed on the 2009 price list. Now I can dial in a new hunting revolver.
I would guess the cheapest route for you to go, particularly at 2009 prices, is to do the same. Call DW and order the BA that you want- $433 for a 10" assembly. Of course, the OEM markings are different than the Monson but it's still a Dan.

I love the 41 mag. its my favorite caliber. I have a VH8 and several others and they are all great shooters and will handle any published load I've ever tried with ease.

I have a 41-v10" and a VH-10" and they both shoot tremendously. They were both attached to guns when I obtained them, never saw a lonely BA for sale in 10" either. Good luck with that one. The DW parts from CZ may be your best bet.

I have had both the V10 and VH10 shrouds. The VH10 was the first one, but it didn't make the weight restrictions for IHMSA competition, so I was able to trade Dan Wesson for a V-10. This one is a very accurate gun, and my favorite revolver cartridge.
I also have the development gun for the SRS series, and it has the 10" slotted shroud.
