Was at the local pawn shop.

There was a Dan Wesson .357, 6 inch, stainless made in Palmer Mass.

The weird thing is... NO BUSHING ON THE BARREL. What gives? I've never seen a DW with no bushing to screw in the shroud.

I understand it's a 715. Is the price pictured a good price?

Here is a picture of it.

Yes, Rimfire is correct .. that is a fixed barrel model and really sweet in 6". If it is in as good condition as it appears, it is worth $600 - $650.

I have a stainless .44 mag with an 8" fixed bbl. I really enjoy it, tho at times i wish for changeability. But i think an 8" is a perfect barrel length for the .44.

I'll add to thegtdw vote.

What's the holster?  Could even make it more gtdw.

That's two smileys.

The holster is a cheep one. Fits it but yep, cheep.

Say the rear sight has a small screw that keeps the blade in (the screw is a hex screw and it goes downward into the sight.) Any idea what kind of thread diameter fits it? See that is the only flaw I could find.

If it's a great buy I'll ask for their 'rock bottom price' and grab it.

Snake-eye may be able to fix you up with a screw. We bought a passel of parts he is handling for the needs of members.

Well did you get back to the pawn shop in time? Or did this one spit out the hook?
