My new Dan Wesson pistol pack arrived today. It is brand new never fired. Not a single mark on the cylinder. The case is black but only a one piece handle and not two pieces like others I have seen. It also included the keys. I just thought I would show it off.20150505_161609.jpgImage Enlarger

I have 2 packs with this type of case mine have a single piece handle so I think you have the correct style case.

The blue foam doesn't hold up as well as the other style cases either, these were not used very long.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I have an early DW Pack in a black case as well.  That ages your pack.  Great find!

So what is going to be the best way for me to store this long term?

I have a really nice dry safe that would work for long term 🙂

Lots of generous members here who would store it for you! smile

What I do is clean & oil the frame with choice of BA, then place in safe (with dehumidifier, depending on your climate & air conditioning) then clean & oil other Barrel Assemblies and wrap in wax paper or other treated gun paper and store in the Pac Case outside of safe. Check them all periodically to renew oil and prevent problems. My house is air conditioned year round thus lowering the humidity.

In short, just like your other guns.
