There was a question posted about sight rails, and if an alternative to Aristocrat is available. There is/was another sight rail made by Bo-Mar.
A Google search for Bo-Mar didn't turn up anything too promising. They may be Bomar Sight Company or Bo-Mar Tool & Manufacturing Co.
I'll keep trying

Thanks Wayne, that's very interesting there that Aristocrat was not the only company to make that style of sight! From what I've been able to dig up they're no longer made...

There are a couple of companies that make those style sights. I'll go through some old magazines and scan in a few photos. Most of them are made for S&W, though there are a few colt models. One of my favorites is made by Wichita...and there happens to be one on GB right now....

Thanks, yes that helps a lot. I’ve never heard of the PPC and the Action Cup DWs. I’ve been cruising old threads on DWF trying to learn more about these beloved Dans. Interesting shroud, not sure how I feel about them yet. Thx again!

Yes, Eric did end up making a few of those shrouds...he even made them as barrel assemblies. Sadly, looking at one of Eric's posts a few years later, there may have been only around a dozen serious buyers back then, so he discontinued them not long after. 
I am so glad I was able to be in on the initial run of these EWK Slabsides, and moreso, glad to have been able to have Eric send me a couple prototype ideas he had, for feedback. One of those was his 15-2 to Porkchop barrel adapter. I still have that prototype piece. 
And somewhere here on the 
is my detailed feedback on his prototype. The adapter works GREAT!
Anyway, here is the 6" slabside BA I gladly bought from Eric back then. Now looking back, I wish I had bought a dozen more. These things are going for crazy money these days! (Eric just needed to wait a decade to reap great profits!) 
I did have a pic somewhere of this mounted on a 15-2, firing it at my range (great fun), but it has since been eaten up by the cruel interwebz... 
I tell ya, you look away for a second, and BAM! 
Anyway, I will make it a point to screw that baby on again soon, and post up some 
!

On a side note, the Aristocrat guy escaped from Kali to Arkansas. He's up in Mountain Home about an hour and a half from me.
My local Smith is building a K Frame PPC Gun for me with a 4" Clark barrel. Did I mention I love me some 4" revolvers?
