Howdy folks,
I am so happy to find this board. Nice to know there are others out there who appreciate the superior design of the Dan Wesson Revolver.
I was wondering if anyone out there knows what finishing method or grit at the factory was used to polish the stainless steel models.
I picked up a 715 that was a little rough in the finish dept and would like to touch it up a little without seriously altering the factory finish.
Regards,
Ben

Welcome! I just got my first SS DW, and look forward to some input on this too, although mine is in excellent condition. The other SS pistols I have owned were more matte finished, so I don't know much about this either. I'm sure more knowledge will be forthcoming soon.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
