I just watched the tail end of Code of Silence starring Chuck Norris from about 1985. I know he carried a 15-2VH6 earlier in the movie but I never noticed that in the final shootout scene he was shooting a DW 744-V8. The grip medallion and grip screw are clearly visable in his shoulder rig near the very end. I must admit to thinking that the gun in that scene was awesome, even years ago, before I knew it was a Dan Wesson, or what Dan Wesson's were all about.

I know of two movies which used Dan Wesson. Best know would be The Last Action Hero, the bad guy had a "target" Dan Wessson. As I recall, it was an 8 inch 357 with special rear sight. Malibu Express was a little known 80's movie in which the private eye hero carried a 44 mag DW. The best part was when he tells a girl that he had never hit a moving target in his life and she needed to make the bad guy stop moving. So she stands up, rips her shirt open and presents her own 38s. She did that a lot in this movie.

The 1986 yawner Raw Deal, starring the Governator, featured several Dans, including a 15 which Ahnuld used to cap off a teamster who probably couldn't bear the thought that he would one day make Junior and tried to run him down with a dump truck.
