My wifes uncle passed last week, and we found the gun he always kept in the house for protection, it is a DWA model 15-2 38/357 mag CTG interchangeable barrel, bright blue finish and 4" model.

Has the original foam box and cardboard wrapper with it still.  And still has the old postcard to mail i to get the wrench , as they were out when they made it.

I have the serial trying to find out what year it was mfg.

Thanks in advance

Brandon

Sorry to hear of your loss. Pics will be a help, we can give an idea of date of manufacture with the full serial # or just X out the last two digits. Or you could PM one of our administrators with it.

Sorry for your families loss. Since you found us pretty readily, my guess is you might be a shooter, and the family put this question in your hands to resolve.

Please PM me if you need help, I am sort of the "keeper of the S/N's"

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Fine example  15-2 V4. My 15-2 VH6 was bought NIB around Christmas 1978, ser. # starting 139xxx. I would venture a guess at yours at the first quarter 78'. I got the same brown styrofoam the same walnut checker target grips. I had the tools as well tho. Label on one end w/ model and serial and model# in marker on other end. I also got the VH10 BA ass an add on. My bride loves me... Best handling, most accurate and smoothest action revolver ever produced bar none...IMHO, anyway.

Sorry for the loss in wifes family. Welcome again from the Bluegrass.
